This is "akuma" from the video game series "Street Fighter". He was supposed to be one of many sprites to be created for a popular hand held gaming device. Unfortunately, the project fell through and this sprite is all I was able to work on. I did gain the experience of adapting to a style that is foreign to me so that was a positive.
